Jeff Quinn was announced the 24th Buffalo Bulls football coach in history after the resignation of Turner Gill, who moved on to coach at Kansas. Quinn’s first day for the Buffalo Bulls was on January 3rd and was previously the head coach for Cincinnati in the Sugar Bowl. Coach Jeff Quinn brings with him 27-years of college coaching experience, winning multiple conference and national championships over the course of his career. Five of these conference championships occurred during the past eight seasons. The president of State University of New York-Buffalo is very pleased that Jeff Quinn is joining the football coaching crew.

Before joining onto the Buffalo Bulls football team, Jeff Quinn was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Cincinnati for three seasons. With Quinn at the forefront, the Cincinnati Bearcats compiled a 33-6 record, which includes an undefeated season in 2009 and a national No. 4 ranking bringing the to the Sugar Bowl. Jeff Quinn has also brought the Bearcats to the Allstate Sugar Bowl invitation, and his team set numerous records for UC throughout the 2009 season. These records include those for wins (12), road wins (6), points (495), and passing yards (3,844), just to name a few. Eleven of Quinn’s football players were also honored as all-Big East selections. Before heading to Cincinnati, Jeff Quinn was also associate head coach and offensive coordinator at Central Michigan, who he helped lead to the 2006 MAC title at the 2006 Motor City Bowl. Jeff Quinn had also been a coach for fifteen seasons at Grand Valley State.

The amount of experience Quinn brings to the Buffalo Bulls, along with his proven leadership skills, makes him an asset to this growing team. Quinn is dedicated to the commitment to excellence and is ready to work hard alongside his team, both on and off the field. He strives to make these men the best they can be in all aspects of their lives. Coach Jeff Quinn has also been an avid recruiter both nationally and within the conference, bringing outstanding players to his teams.
